Purple Drink

As usual, took a completely good running bike, and tore it apart! Well only the ass end.
A bike without a sissy bar makes it hard to travel the long distances with. Anyway, this was priority number two, after the "mid boards".

Mock up

First cut

New holes for fender support. Old ones will be welded up prior to paint.

Double iced espresso break

Parts run

Final mock up

Test run!

Wrench, Wrench, Wrench

Since my motor is not quite back from being rebuilt at Pats Machine Shop, I somehow got suckered into working on a couple of the other bikes that are close to getting on the road.

First bent up a fender brace for Todd's shovel.

His bike is getting close...

Then started on the reassembly of Wol's motor.

Barrels slid right on after I covered myself in assembly lube.

Enough for today. Get back into it in another day or so. Hey Jason, what are you doing Friday??!!!

Checking out the Swap Meet Site

Last friday we went up to check out the swap site by D&D Rods and Rewire. As you can see, there is a fucking lake behind us. We had another heavy spring storm friday, and basically once again filled the field with water.
But don't worry. Weather for the next couple of weeks is going to be in the 80's. Down right hot a couple of those days! Either way, we didn't get much done, besides drinking a couple freezing cold beers.

Yes, it started to hail on us for awhile too...

I hope to get this guy back on the road this week. Fucking work, life, and now the ol landcruiser has preventing me from dedicating any time to this project.

Oh yeah, and maybe the weather isn't helping either!

Spaces are selling quick, but we still have plenty of room for everyone. As much fun as this was last year, hopefully we don't have the mud to do keg pushes on the choppers this time!

Got everything mocked up and then welded on. Went pretty smooth actually.

And since it's been mid 70's and sunny, there weren't many reasons not to go for a test ride.

Next is sissy bar...

We Finally Have New Stuff For Sale!

Awhile ago we decided to have Marc Schönn from Germany give the Fast Greasy Trash a facelift. Turned out fucking killer! We also have two new hat designs, embroidered and sewn patches on the front of these heavy duty mesh hats. And while we're talking about new stuff going on, the Swap Meet is coming up, and spaces are slowly filling up. Reserve your space online, or via email.
